ok, so exactly does the GRiP do? Do we have our own special forum or something?

Yes, the grip group will have their own portion of the forum index for their reviews...the grip mod will be moderator for those reviews, and that's basically it - for a simple explanation...because i know i have posted a ton of stuff about it already all over the site.
