Ok, here is the new logo. The one at the top of this page took me 3 hours to create, and was the first time I had tried to create something 3D on a 2D software.
This one took me about 15 minutes to create, because I knew what I was doing, and knew what I wanted...and now I am curious what you think about it:
Well, so far, there has been a redesign of the logo to refelect the style of the redesigned site. I WAS going to just re-use the logo we have now, but that was simply because I didn't think I could make it any better. But I got an idea while I was in my Database Management class, and drew it out on paper, and thought I would try to get it on the computer. It turned out better than I had expected.
Sorry that you're not used to change...but when (and it might be later than sooner) the new site is released, everyone will be switched over to the new version, because the old version is not "code-compatible" and "style-compatible" with the new features in the new site.
However, the new site is being made to conform to the php template standards, and then I can make other styles that people can choose from...hopefully.
Well, it had a darker reflection the first time I posted it...I can change it though...
And I SUPPOSE the next version was going to come out on Jan 1 2005...but seeing as how I am so very far behind in coding, because of school and other personal things in life, that date will have to be pushed back until I can get it finished.
Just a little teaser for the new site again...here's the two newest headers I have been working on.
the logo for the Grip took a freakin' hour to create...then the header took about 5 minutes because I had it from the tsn header already...but that took about 10 minutes to create.
