Why am I bringing up the discussion of the Holiday Season? Tis also the greatest time of the year for charities and such.
Here's the deal, we have plenty of time for now to discuss how we're going to offer our services to charities. So far the main location of TSNers are:
Nacogdoches
Arlington/DFW
Austin
Tyler
Houston
Most likely Nacogdoches will be a centralized spot for any charities, however, any location will do.
What we need to do is to figure out what charities there are, which one could be the best choice to offer our services, and what we can do for those charities.
For example, collect toys for hospitalized children who have to be stuck in Hospitals. (A project of http://www.Penny-Acarde.com actually)
Websites helping charities is nothing new, so I figured we'd go with the flow and be of service ^_^
So start coming up with some ideas how we can help our local communities ^__^

awww... i'm sad i won't be able to do anything w/you all. in high school in NJ we always rang bells for the Salvation Army and did gift wrapping at the mall for Big Brothers, Big Sisters of America... stuff like that. but i don't really know what you guys have down there, so can't really help that much. Good luck though!

Wow....I actually really like this idea. Something else we could do is buy stuff to send to children in third world countries. Or make kits of things for the troops in Iraq or in other places. But yeah...whatever we do...it'll be from the heart and a great idea.
I know that Godtel and The Womens Shelter are good places. Godtel is downtown over on mainstreet...and Womens shelter is near conoco on the south side. (Nacogdoches)
