What simple things in life bring you the most happiness?

For me, it's probably a comfortable room temperature, dimly lit, with high speed internet, my Thumbs Up Google Playlist, and some familiar code to work on, with a Starbucks iced drink - but with unmelting ice - on a rainy day.

For me, it's simply traveling, with some cold beverage, either meeting up with friends, or traveling companions, talking about anything and everything, with no particular destination in mind on a warm summer night, my mp3 player playing in the background, and no time limit.

Wind... I'm seriously happy when I have wind in my face, my hair is untied and just blowing. I could stand outside for hours and just feel the wind take me away.

This morning it was driving with my windows down, my music blaring, and singing at the top of my lungs! It was so beautiful this morning.

Music is a big thing that brings me joy. It can always help change my mood. I do love the wind, too, and listening to my wind chimes.

And...my dogs. They are always there for me, no matter what. And even when I have to scold them, they still love me. That is happiness!!

When I unpack the order at work, and I can have a perfect stack of empty, broken down boxes within a box. And general tidiness.

I did that this weekend. I put some Florida Georgia Line ft Nelly on the aux in the car and drove to a friend's house to check on their cat while they're out. It was a nice mid-70s morning, and I had no worries, and hearing Nelly in a country song (though not new) brought me full-circle to when he sang with Tim McGraw back a decade ago.

Lol. Definitely not the kind of music I would have blaring, but same idea. Lol. I just love feeling the wind in my hair while driving and listening to good music!

Almost anything with peanut butter and chocolate. I'm easy to keep happy.
