Getting to know you VII

Bringing back an old thread game...

The rules are simple:
  1. Answer the question posted by the person before you
  2. Ask a question of your own for the person after you
Let's get started...

Did you ever think tsn would come back from the dead?

I never thought it was really dead....mostly because I was way gone.

Why are you sticking around tsn? Or if you are new here, what brought you here?

(I really wanted someone new to answer that - but we can post it again when someone new comes on.)

I am sticking around so I can try the new things I'm learning at work, and get a better understanding of how it all works to do my job better.

What do you think about a fresh start vs picking up a decade later where you left off?

I love seeing where I was a decade ago (I think a decade is a nice time differential) but starting new is also a plus. I like that we can do both simultaneously.

And because I can, what is your view of Canada?

What's Canada? Haha, j/k. I have a lot to be thankful for because of Canada: Maple syrup, canadian bacon, ... and nice people? Honestly I don't really know much about Canada....so my view is that it's another country, who is North of us. I don't think anything bad about it, and there are quite a few places in Canada I'd love to visit (I just won't be bringing my gun).

What are your top 3 book recommendation as of right now?

Where in the world would you go if money is not an option? Provide location and activity in said location.

I assume you mean "not a concern," in which case to build a Starship so I could travel to another star system to explore the galaxy.
Of course if you mean I can't spend money...and then to the forest to try my hand at surviving homeless - since I won't be able to afford anything. Better to be around options than in the city begging.

Elaborate on your response to: Would you sign up for a one-way trip to a habitable planet in another solar system?

I did mean not a concern, I blame multitasking and exhaustion.

I would, depending on what the planet had to offer. If it was a spa or amusement part, definitely. If it was not really appealing I wouldn't. Just like any type of travel, I'd want to be interested in what I'd do. I wouldn't go for the sake of saying I went to another planet, given how little of this planet I haven't seen yet.

What is the worst offense a friend can commit that would end a friendship (excluding the law-breaking ones like murder)?

Lying to benefit oneself

What kind of tattoo would you get (and if you already have one, what's the next one you would get?)

If I wasn't so pain intolerant I would get one of my own design that covered my back from shoulder blades to tailbone. Something spiritual and abstract but representative.

What is the most disturbing body modification you have ever seen.

She-males (never actually seen one in person, but the internet is a scary place sometimes).

What is a food you hated when you were a kid but absolutely love now?

What did you want to be when you grew up?

Surprising no one here.. a princess. Then an animator once reality set in.

What is the biggest difference between how you pictured your future and how it is in reality now?

I pictured I'd be more ambitious than I am. Once I "grew up" I realized that it was all self-importance and arrogance, not ambition.

Would you rather have fact and certainty, or belief and hope?

Fact and certainty. I'm bad at believing without proof.

What super power/special ability would you want and why?
