How do you determine spotics and leet points in a post anyway?

The more characters the more of each, and if I am not mistaken, you get like a 10 of the spotics in l33t points...at least that is what it looks like when you post. But I don't know that for sure....

But, I do know, the bigger the post the more ya' get...

I was thinking that it would be freckin awesome if you gave away spotics and l33t points at our get togethers. For instance, next lan party have a tourney where the prize is spotics...you know what I am talking about.
