Scotland!

by DMoney » 17 Apr 2015, 16:50

My wife and I are about to go to Scotland for a week! Have any of you been? Whether you've been or not, what would you recommend doing while we're there? We'll be visiting quite a few castles, touring Loch Ness and searching for Nessy, touring Isle of Skye, and some other things. I think we have a pretty good trip planned, but I'd love to hear other's opinions and get some more suggestions. I'll be sure to share plenty of pictures once we're back!

I've never been, but my grandmother has. Everything is frappin' expensive over there compared to here...so, my recommendation is to do nothing that you could do back home.

:doublepost: HOLD UP....that picture it is posting is NOT the picture that it is showing on the second page of smileys. It really showed a bagpiper. Does this work? :bagpipe: :bagpiper:

Apparently there were two pirate smilies in the list, the first being a bagpiper. Fixed.

Hahaha....no. >_>. And thanks Neo, I definitely agree with your suggestion. Everything is crazy expensive, thus so far everything we have planned are things that can only be done there. Gas alone will probably cost us around $500.

I will be playing some ingress while in Scotland. Not sure how I'd feel about giving keys to a smurf, but maybe I could give you one.

lol, that may be so, but the problem is trying to get it to reach that far across the ocean. If you don't have the whole portal to level 8, and have nothing but link amps (or someway somehow get your hands on a VR link amp, which is practically impossible). It's not impossible, just hard to do.
