Re: Texas going open carry?

You can legally buy and own a gun with no license or training. The only reason you'd need a license is if you want to carry it publicly. To carry it they do require some background checks, finger printing, minimal training, and pass an easy shooting test.

Have you noticed anyone else lurking around? Anyone that might be interested that we could reach out to?

Re: Getting to know you VII

What's Canada? Haha, j/k. I have a lot to be thankful for because of Canada: Maple syrup, canadian bacon, ... and nice people? Honestly I don't really know much about Canada....so my view is that it's another country, who is North of us. I don't think anything bad about it, and there are quite a few...

Re: Texas going open carry?

I agree with a lot of what you said, which is why I'm somewhat torn about how I feel about it. I'd love to hear from other open carry states about how often they see people openly carrying, and how people react to that. I agree that it might be a little scarier to see everyone carrying...but maybe t...

Bring back my friends!

What can we do to really get this place going again? So far there have been 4 members posting since the site was re-launched (I know it's only been a day). I have some new friends I'd like to bring here, but without much going on, I'm not sure now's the time. I'd hate to invite someone just to have ...

Re: Texas going open carry?

Welp...that's good to know if I ever visit Canada! I hope to never have to use my gun for self defense or protection of anyone, even here you'll most likely run into lots of legal problems and need legal help to make sure you can prove you're innocent and used your gun legally.

Re: Texas going open carry?

Dang...owner must have been a Texan. lol. That seems weird to me that you can own a handgun...but only for use at a gun range. So if someone's attacking your family, and possibly even killing them in front of you, and you legally own a gun, you still can't point it at them?

Re: Texas going open carry?

And what about handguns? Do they open carry handguns, conceal carry, or no carrying allowed?

Word Association (Revived)

I'm brining back this game! Just cause it was fun for everyone and went around many times.

Rules: Basically post the first word that comes to mind to the previous person's post.
