Well, I wanted to do a throwback to when everyone would get together at the Deptula house - but hopefully have a little better air-conditioning situation than we ended up with there with so many people. And of course provide FIOS internet for gaming of whatever type. I guess it'll just need a little...

So, I did some research based on a comment made by DMoney in another thread, and found a LAN Arena right near my house, with similar prices to Arena Tyler. http://epicgaminglounge.com/ They don't have any good photos of the inside, but they boast 20 PCs and 40 consoles. That might actually be enough...

Wonder6oy and Wonder6irl have two small WonderKids that I highly doubt that'd be possible. You could ask em though. There are several parks nearby that they could play at. They did just drive to DFW two weekends in a row though. And now there's the possibility I won't be able to make it because of ...

I voted for the 27th. The 4th would generally be a bad idea for me since family related get-togethers are a big thing on holidays. Besides, even if that weren't the case, since it's the first Saturday of the month, I'd be hosting Ingress First Saturday in the East Texas area. Sweet. I'm so glad you...

That really depends on the purpose...and the type of bread/tortillas available. I like them both equally, but I like certain ones for certain things more at times.
PC Games or Consoles?

I need a reminder to remind me to come post on this thread when I have more time! Come back and post here. Now it'll show up in your notifications. I also find myself wishing I could mark something as Unread, or Snoozed like in Google Inbox. That is one of the big features I want to put into the si...

Well, Me and GlennCoco are one of the "either" weekend votes...idk who the other is. And there are 3 votes for the 27th. So that's 6 people. But I don't know who the votes are for - if for one or multiple people I'm the other "either" vote, but I'm not sure if it's for one or mu...

Hrm...I looked up Cheaty Mages and Zombie Dice. Do you own them? I might want to play a couple of rounds some time to check it out. I don't own them, but they are at my office. I might be able to bring them home for the weekend. I also have Star Trek: Catan (like Settlers of Catan, but with Star Tr...

Depending on where you live, you may not be permitted by the city to have a siren go off. There is a lot that goes into it all, but you're better off paying the $40/month for everything and getting a free installation from ADT than trying to buy all the devices yourself and monitoring it yourself. W...

For me, the ability to have a door-open chime that doesn't sound like a doorbell. we've had to turn the volume way down so that we don't readily hear it. But it has desensitized us to the actual doorbell. And they played hardball to get a second panel installed when the system the house came with al...

I enjoy Cards Against Humanity when the words are unexpected from certain people - and with a little alcohol involved to loosen things up. We play other games at work during lunch like "Cheaty Mages" or "Zombie Dice". Some are card games, some are dice, some are board games. It a...

I use Reliant (the people who do Electricity) for the security system as well. I'm not 100% recommending it, mainly because it's lacking some features...but it does have a mobile app that I can arm/disarm from, and cellular service since I don't have a land line phone.
