Re: Sept. 7th, 2015 @ 1p-6:30p | A Canadian in Texas? What??

For now I'm planning on being there. Then if anything new comes up, you decline it, because you made this plan first. :) That's how you stop that nonsense. Exactly, we've called dibs. Anything else that comes up has to compete with an international visit. :P If the competing plan involves another c...

Sorry I haven't come back to reply about restaurants. Life has been chaotic. I'm good with Texan or not, though I think I'll likely want a sit down place. All else fails, do you guys have Cracker Barrels because those are my kryptonite. LOVE Cracker Barrels, no idea why. Probably should be a last re...

I'll take a look closer to the date. I'm preferential to steak, burgers, and Italian for the most part. :) Suggestions always welcome. Not too pricy though since my currency sucks compared to the USD at the moment.

Re: Favorite Games

I WoW and Hearthstone on and off. DoA 2 for Dreamcast will always be my favourite fighting game. I love fighting games. American McGee's Alice, too. Love it! I'm still working through the sequel since I put it down a while back. CAH is awesome though I have to be careful who I play with. I have a fe...

Re: A Canadian in Texas? What??

GlennCoco and I will be there. We might be able to get you out of the airport for some lunch, though there are some good places in the airport too. Just find a place in or near that you'd be interested in eating at, and we'll make that happen. lol I have no clue what's around there so I'll have to ...

Re: Comic TV Shows

I saw Ant-Man a couple weekends ago. It was a typical Paul Rudd movie. I guess I wasn't expecting much ever since I saw they were doing it back in 2012. I had never heard of Ant-Man until then, and had nothing to base any expectations on. I am now curious though about what the end-game is for all t...

Sept. 7th, 2015 @ 1p-6:30p | A Canadian in Texas? What??

Because I totally gave Neo no head's up about this, if he wants to change how this is organized, completely up to him. That being said... I'm in California for the Labour Day weekend running a half marathon at Disneyland because... well because I wanted to. It's my 30th birthday that Saturday and I ...

Re: Tech toys!

Took me a while to get to this... Phone: Samsung Galaxy SIII. I'm at the end of my contract so I can upgrade and just not sure what I want yet. I'm thinking LG G4 but still undecided. Tablet: Samsung Galaxy Tab 3, 7". It was a gift and I wanted something to go with my phone. Sue me. :P It's gre...

Re: Comic TV Shows

The ending was whatever, though. I could have done without it. What part are you referring to? and catch up with the Agents of Shield, and Agent Carter. Maybe I'm missing something by not watching those. The "new" team part. I was eye rolling at that. And you may be missing something but ...

Re: Traits you didn't know you wanted

I never considered this - I guess I've always had a bigger appetite the majority of my life. I can see how this would be a difficult thing mentally if someone remarked how much you're eating, when you find it normal, or feel hungry enough to eat it. I t fr me it ties a lot into how I perceive gende...

Traits you didn't know you wanted

So this came about as I've been doing some internal assessment of what I want in a relationship and a partner. I've since asked a few friends and my mom this question and it has given me some really interesting insights into them and their relationships. When I say traits below, I mean anything abou...

Re: Death of Loved Ones

I think Heaven/Afterlife will be what we make it to be. I've seen interpretations that suggest the visual/experiential component is derived from the individual. I want to believe that's what it is. But if it's reincarnation, I want to be something with wings. I need to be able to fly next life.

Re: High School Reunions

I had similar (or worse) experiences as most of you in high school. I have a few friends on facebook and I maybe see one or two of the for coffee in real life. I actually work in the same building now (different departments, though) as an old high school acquaintance. Where it's different for me is ...

Re: Comic TV Shows

I enjoyed the movie for the spectacle aspect of it. In terms of the content, there were a few points I took issue with, in various ways. An example of this being the treatment of Black Widow in the franchise in general, including the movie. There was a lot of "did they really need that" mo...
