I start checking the news the last hour of the day, because I don't want to start programming something that I can't get to a stopping point before 5:00.

But yes, the internet is getting increasingly boring for me as well. Not much is going on here, and I don't really care to keep staring at facebook or twitter. The only thing with any kind of appeal is WoW right now, and even that is starting to get boring. I guess I'm growing up - but don't want to actually leave the apartment and go do things.

Actually, every time I've tried to take my girlfriend out on a date, we nearly get killed on the highway by some fucktard who isn't watching where they're going. EVERY TIME.

I must add, that the-spot has been VERY dead lately. I mean, like  dead.

Hmm...

Yeah. I have no motivation to do anything with it - and what's worse, no ideas for something new at the moment.

Most of my programming focus over the years has been integration, and mash-ups. Ideally, I would connect all of everyone's social networks into one site that you can visit - but they have that, it's called FriendFeed.com and it's not a huge success.

Once Myspace came onto the scene with some funding behind it, and was then overtaken in popularity by Facebook and Twitter, it was all downhilll from there.

I'd have to basically reinvent tsn and then push out an advertisement to all the people who's email is in the database. I just don't have any good ideas, nor the time really, to make a new site.

While TSN is (for the most part) dead, I'll check here everyday. With the few people who still do their journals here, I'll read them, with me still doing comics, I find this is definitely the best place for that constructive criticism that I need, even though its just Neo and FBM, which is fine with me. I'm thinking of starting up some new threads, even if they've been discussed before. New threads = new discussions = different outlooks than last time, at least the way I see it. I'll throw something up in each forum, or at least I'll try to.

Like I said, I'm here everyday, even if nobody else does.

Well, one thing I'm proud of is that the site isn't being taken over by spammers while the action has died down. I've seen several dying forums get taken over by spammers, and it's just sad.

If y'all have any ideas for what I could turn tsn into, fire away.

I've tried to come up with a couple of new ideas, but unfortunately, I can't really think of any.

I think the big thing with TSN was with the journals. It was pretty awesome to have it unviewable if you weren't a member. Basically a members only section of the site, so it helped not having anyone being able to see what I posted in there that wasn't a member.

Have you thought about bringing the photo album on here back? Since there aren't very many posters on here anymore, I doubt we're going to get bombarded with photos and take up too much space like last time. I know there are tons of photo album websites, but being able to have one on here, to me, was fairly simple, and I don't have to worry about any of them being blocked from work or school or wherever else. I don't know, its just a thought.

Space wasn't really the issue - it was the fact that it was a mod for phpbb 2.0 and when we upgraded to 3.0 (which had far more feature integration in the vanilla package without having to do any mods) the photo album wasn't compatible. Not only that, but the code hadn't been updated for years, and there were all kinds of security issues involved with that.

Judging how often people upload to flickr though (which is free to use, and most people who object to doing it have a yahoo account anyway), the photo album wouldn't be that big a selling point either.

I did like posting in my journal, until my life became routine, and I started having a 8-5 job, and no more drama. These days I work, play WoW, and sleep. I'd do something other than WoW if there were something that interested me more during hot summer days.

Yeah, I just really got into Flickr. and I have to say: it's awesome.

Routine isn't really a bad thing, depending on the person.

Yeah, I've been finding that if I try to do a routine, it ends up become an adventure all on its own =_=

If I can find the adapter card for my micro SD card from my [disconnected] cellphone, I'd upload a ton of pictures that have yet to be seen by anyone other than those who have seen my cellphone.
